Sewer

The City of New Meadows treats sewage at its Sewer Treatment Plant off of Peterson Memorial Avenue.  The city treats millions of gallons of sewage per year from close to 320 connections.

Help us by keeping our sewer treatment facilities clean by not flushing items down that do not belong. The pictures below show what happens when the wrong things are disposed of in the sewer system.  It becomes quite the smelly mess!
